For example, an outdoor wedding at a garden or by the beach wedding will not suit a long train. 1. Chapel

This is the most popular choice for brides who want a formal yet unfussy train. It usually extend 1 - 1.5 meters from the waist.
2. Cathedral
A long and very formal train, it falls about 2 - 2.5 meters from the waist
3. Court
A narrow train extending about 1 meter from the waist. Due to it's length, this train is more suitable for an indoor wedding.
4. Fishtail

The shortest option that flares out from a fitted skirt and trails less than a meter behind the wearer.
5. Watteau
Dropping down from the shoulders to the hem of the dress, this dramatic train has a somewhat Grecian feel.
6. Sweep
The hassle-free option for minimalist brides. It has the same length as a fishtail but trails from the bottom of the dress.
7. Royal / Monarch
The mother of all trains. A majestic train favored by royals and celebrities, it extends to about 3 meters or more.
